so, i feel like i’ve been neglecting this new blog, but to be honest i’ve just been super busy! saturday afternoon i headed out to a photo shoot in montpelier (pictures to follow next post) and then sunday i had two more in powhatan! the proprietors of erin hill bed & breakfast graciously allowed me to use the house and grounds as a backdrop for my sessions that day! (after i got up the nerve to drive up the driveway and approach them — requesting the use of their property — yay me!!).
anywho, i am posting about my experience with sweet, nearly 2 year old braelyn and her mom and dad. such a sweet family! brae is spunky — from her blazing red hair to her ‘sparkly’ shoes! i’m learning quickly that working with small children can be a challenge — that all little ones are pretty much JUST LIKE MINE! busy, easily distracted and following their own agenda, but so sweet and joyful (and sometimes hilarious!) that i can’t help but love the job! (listen to me! i just said J-O-B!) here is a sampling of the first half of brae’s shoot. enjoy!!
