So, I’ve recently had the pleasure of photographing a pair of awesome new parents. Both just before the birth of their daughter — followed by a newborn shoot just after! Mom & dad are laid-back, fun & funky. When I asked them what they wanted to do/how they might like to pose for the maternity session, their first was response was to take the dogs (their first children) for a walk. So sweet!
What a lucky little girl: brought into this world surrounded by an immense amount of love, creativity, playfulness and faith… And her own bodyguards: Max & Sadie! Daddy & mommy: A musician and an artist, united in their faith and family. Oh, the sweetness! And, Miss Sylvia arrived just in time to play a tiny Mrs. Claus! She is definitely their pride and joy! I definitely can not wait to get my camera on her again as she’s reaching new milestones!! Take a peak!

thanks Rowena!! their shoot was a lot of fun & playing with perspectives is one of my favorite things to do… :o) it doesn’t hurt that the parents EMIT love. they like to play, but they don’t fake anything. awesome little family!
