so, last week i had the pleasure of catching up with an old friend and photographing his beautiful, growing family. the newest member, sweet baby ella, was only three weeks old! her older brother, kyler, is 2 1/2 years old and proved to be quite the ham that day! i had the honor of taking their first family pictures as a family of four in front of their new house! lots of milestones!!
on a side note, let me mention how nice it is to be around an old friend and not have it feel awkward! we haven’t been close in…. fourteen years (?), but to stand in his kitchen and talk to him and his dear wife, ashley, about our kids, jobs, day care, houses…. it all felt super comfortable. i love that. a wonderful reminder of how good old friends can be! i hope to see them again soon.
